STRATEGIES TO OVERCOME STRESS
Stress is a part of life now and then. you just cant ignore it or leave it, we need a more efficient way to function and to be productive. following are the certain strategies which I think can be beneficial to the modern world people.
1) Stay assertive as possible: it is not easy for the person to be assertive all the time and in all the situations so just try to shift focus on the things that help u to find the answer. Sometime we fight on the problem not on the solution, so try to focus on the solution rather than the problem.
2) Don't take decisions when you are emotionally overwhelm: During the argument or during the stressful situations people usually make the decisions in emotions and then they regret it. sometime it is ok to be calm and delayed certain things or just postpone it so that you can get enough time to thing and make a good decision.
3) Enough sleep: Brain is a part of our system that mostly get affected by the disturbances in sleep pattern usually in people who don't get enough sleep have difficult time to keep up relations and focus on the things or daily chores. So it is very necessary to get at least 6 hrs. of night sleep for the better health and reduce stress.
4) Separate the professional life from personal life: The person who brings the office work to home or come home and still mental present at office can keep up with the social life. It is very necessary to separate the personal life from professional one for the better social involvement. The people in our life such as mother, father, sister, wife/husband or any other who loves you and care about you need you attention and time. It is necessary to maintain social relation for the better health.
5) Have hobby: The thing that gives you happiness are hobbies. Hobby make the person realize that he/she is something as an individual and has a ability to do something of its own. Hobby can bring confidence in the person and channelize the internal energy to find the answer to the questions. Hobbies such as reading book, walking, being in a group, drawing, etc. can improve the mental status of a person.
6) Socialize and express feelings: The most valuable thing in persons life is people, people who love us and care about us. Spending time with the our love one's generate the feeling of importance and self value. Discussing problem with other can provide us a new point of view to see the problem and possibilities of solution. The things can be done faster when it is done by the collaboration of other people, team work is a backbone of human civilization for the development considering this principle we can change our world too.
7)Find motivation: The first thing we need to complete any task is motivation. It act as a drive to the person to do things. finding motivation in the outer world can be good but it wont last long rather if we can find the motivation inside that last long. how to motivate self ( well in my case I always ask myself that what is my purpose to be alive and I find find my answer) is an important question, well if u know yourself u can find your motivation.
8)Other:
- Improve life style if possible
- Eat healthy food (Low fat and sugar )
- Do at least one exercise daily
- Have pet
- Take breaks between work
- Listen to the music
